English grade Seven Students are beginning a writing assignment that can be any style, format and subject matter that they are interested in. Notes have been given to guide them. This will be sent away to be published and bound in a hard copy for the student. Students should be developing a first draft of stories, essays, poems, how to do what ever they select. They should be writing and thinking about this throughout the next week and should be encouraged at home. The published work should be 3 to 7 typed written pages double space with 3 to 7 pictures to go along with this.

This will take place throughout the next month.

Most of the school is participating with this and a letter will be sent home with important sheets to return if you want or do not want extra books ordered which will cost for the extra books. This letter explaining this will be sent home next week. Encourage your child to work on their writing each day for a 10 to 15 minutes
